Weather underground alternative?

Looking at the temps some of you are posting, all that I can say is "Better you than me."

The only time I want to see them pushing 80 is when my woodstove is cranking out the heat.

Unless you have a dedicated weather station on your land (I do), I know of no better source than the National Weather Service

While they gather the data which most other sites interpret and use, they seem to be the least accurate here. Quite often they will say one thing while other sites will say another. Then their forecast will change and be in line with everybody else… sometimes I think they go to weather underground and copy their forecast.

I use WU on iPhone, iPad and PC with Windows 11. They all have no ads. I use the WU app with the Apple. I did click on NO Thanks when signing on. Also have tracking shut off in settings. When searching I use Duck Duck Go for search engine. I use it for TBN also.
On my PC I use Duck Duck Go for my search engine. Very few Ads show up.

I like Accuweather for their local radar images. Once you get your area set simply bookmark it for access.

Well, forecast for here is to hit 79 today. Agree, way too hot for the end of April.

I used to use WU, but a few years back the site got so cluttered I went to Weather channel. Just for grins, I went to WU to see what the fuss was about, and it looked the same as before. Windows PC/Chrome browser. No idea how either one looks on a smart phone, don't have one.

Well tried again this morning and WU seems back to large window, but there are still differences. At least it has NOT taken me to the weather channel.

I use Hyperlocal weather on my droid. Love the interface. It is free with ads, or a few bucks a year without them.

It provides a very nice hourly view that I have found to be accurate more than it is not. The hourly view has slicers so you can switch between precip, wind, temp etc Also provides 10 day forecast, radar, etc.
