Tractor is new and the engine is stalling out if the brake is applied while tractor is in gear. Is this normal behavior? I wouldn’t expect it is but not seeing much in the manual about it. Sorry for the noob question, thanks in advance.
It’s a HST transmission. Is it a joke? In this case a funny one, or not so much? You bought a manual trans not knowing how to drive a stick? Good for you
In short, if you do not know how to drive a stick, you definitely professional in google
Here is your friend:
By in gear I mean not in neutral and in either Low or High range. Sorry should have been more clear.Oh, ok, i thought you told it was in gear, so manual trans come to mind.
Does it creep in one direction or the other by itself?I was applying the brake while sitting still. No other pedals pressed. Engine was at lowest throttle level, HST in low gear. I applied the brake pedal and it pretty quickly stalled.
