It might. But those who have tried have all failed on automobile sized systems.

Locomotives, earth movers, ships, are another story.
I see LouNY already mentioned Edison Motors, easily the most entertaining corner of the EV development world, but there's also the new Dodge RamCharger.

I believe you, when you say that achieving efficiency in a series hybrid is going to be a matter of scale. But I'll also argue that changes in the technologies involved will serve to move the threshold, in terms of where that economy of scale becomes practical. If it was locomotives in the past, and semi trucks today, it's reasonable to think pickup trucks are the next frontier for a practical series hybrid.

What transpires in the EV market will mostly hinge on what the central government does and the cost of petroleum.

Go back and read some of the drivel you posted when one person posted real world numbers of their ev in sub zero temperatures
Cite it, I'm not going to search for parameters you know that I do not.

It's pretty eveident that if it's not a Tesla, theily are scum.

Nuff said.
That doesn't make me a Tesla fanboy. All other manufacturers are being good little State Capitalists, good little dogs thrilled at any attention from their master. Happy to spend other people's money with little regard for value received.

They are also working on a pickup version.
What? They are not brilliant enough to go direct from concept to production? Didn't get enough government grants to do that? They are Canadian!

But there is no sense in responding to you or your posts. You have drunk deeply of the EV koolaid and know all.
Time to unfollow this thread which could have had some potential.
You only came here to rabble-rouse and preach your superior, "I'll never own an EV!" wisdom.

You have no idea how deep of an ICE motorhead I am because I don't tell you. I find it too funny to tell you.

Well to show you how stupid you are there is actually a Chevy Equinox EV parked in my driveway, sitting between an old IH 574 and my RAM 1500 PU.
So chew on that, and stuff the rest of your nonsense.

Nice vehicle. Looked at one Friday at the Fort Worth Stock Show.

So, you are regretting the purchase. All EVs must be as bad as your Chevy.

Another one bites the dust !

Never heard of them, but wow... ugly vehicles. It looks like they were aiming more at small commercial transport, than personal vehicles.

Interesting quote at the top of the article, "Despite its financial struggles, CEO Tony Aquila has faced criticism for receiving an exceptionally high salary and benefiting from private jets."

Your garage puts me in mind of Biden's. Cluttered and in disarray....lol

Of course garages, in general seem to be depositories of un used and forgotten about junk and clutter.
