That’s good to know. I definitely need to do something with it because water is in the oil again. It probably just needs o rings, seals, gaskets etc. I’ve never taken one apart so il find out.
I've never seen a pump with an oil lubrication. All I've seen have ceramics at wear points and are water-lubed/cooled.

I’ve got a cheap pressure washer, over 20 years old and there is oil in there and I changed it a few weeks ago when I dug it out and got it running. I think a lot of them have oil in the pump, people just don’t know it.
