DK45 fuel gauge sending unit

I have a 2010 Bobcat CT450 (which is simply a rebadged Kioti DK45) and the fuel gauge has been reading very inconsistently over the past couple of years. Suddenly it decided to quit working altogether.

I will of course check the fuse but in reality, the sending unit probably needs to be replaced too.

I am trying to find the appropriate sending unit without going to the Bobcat dealer and getting raped.

I believe my tractor equates to the Kioti DK45 or DK50 which Bobcat simply rebadged.

Can anyone provide advice on finding the correct unit for my tractor?

Your tractor is a "re-badged" KIOTI DK45SE. The DK45 is an older model KIOTI and would not be the same as your Bobcat.

There are 3 different versions of the DK45 The original DK45 has a metal hood and fenders. Then next came the DK45S sometimes referred to as the DK451 which has fiberglass hood and fenders and a 15.3 gallon fuel tank. Then the latest version was the DK45SE which has the 11.9 gallon fuel tank.

Thanks. My Bobcat has the 11.9 gallon tank so that pretty much confirms it equates to the DK45SE.

Next go-round, I'm getting a Kioti and not have to deal with the Bobcat foolishness. It has however been a great tractor.

The original parts manual calls for Kioti part T4125-69211 which apparently is no longer available. Talking to the good folks at Michigan Iron, the nice lady did some research and found a listing for a replacement part "TE15-0082B" which although not identical, did actually work well as a fix. My thanks to all the especially, Michigan Iron.
