Everybody made snowsleds back in the '70s. Evinrude, Johnson, Mercury, all got into the game. Plus there were hundreds of smaller companies which either failed or merged with somebody else. The John Deere was liquid cooled if I remember correctly.

My cousin had a Harley Davidson sled which he would have given to me, but I didn't have a place to store it at the time. I believe they were about as reliable as the bikes of that vintage...when AMF owned the company.
I just found this old Yamaha last week. It was left in the backwoods of my property that we bought a few years back. It looks to be pretty well complete, not sure what size it is. Bonus is that I found an old disc close by as well. I might take some time to pull them out of the woods this spring.
