It both lol. I have 3.1 and a 3.7 inch barrel and slide and I have the magazine extension for added grip. The longer barrel improves accuracy and velocity for reaching out. But the short barrel is more comfortable for appendix carry. Do you have a P365 too?
Yessir. I was wondering if you got the xl grip, or standard?

I have an xl. Been toying with the idea of acquiring a 3.1 barrel and slide. Qualification coming up and want to see the difference.

I need to figure out a way to carry in DE. Live in PA but in DE all the time. It’s getting to be a hassle.

I have the standard grip but the magazines have the pinky extension on them. When I put the longer slide on and use the extended mags that makes it equal to a XL.
While the longer slide wa a confidence builder at distance I was able to bring that confidence back to the shorter barrel later. If qualification is coming up soon you may be best served with the XL slide, then change to the shorter barrel to carry.
I'm waiting on a shorter slide/barrel for my P320 XFull size to make it a Xcarry. Qualification is early Jan for that one. I like the modularity of the Sig. The slide and barrel swap takes less than 30 seconds.
I see Ruger following suit now too with a small modular pistol that has serial number on the fire control unit. It is said to take Glock magazines too.

Delaware recognizes permits from the following states:
  • Alabama
  • Alaska
  • Arizona
    • Arkansas
    • Colorado (resident permits only)
    • Florida (resident permits only)
    • Idaho (enhanced permits only)
    • Kansas
    • Kentucky
    • Maine
Curious that the strictest states like CA permit not recognized...Trump did make some noise about a federal reciprocity law.
CA permit process requires FBI checklist and 16 hrs of class including live fire qualification.

Looks like you will need a DE permit. Firearm reciprocity laws take a long time to change.

FL residency laws require you spend 6 months 1 day a yr in residence due to the tax advantages sought by the snowbirds.
Of course there are ways around just like registering cars out of state for certain advantages. But if you ever end up in court for a defensive shooting do you really want your permit to be an issue?
Looks like you would need the DE permit and a PA permit to cross between the 2 states

The old FL permit would allow that. Unfortunately DE or someone changed the reciprocity agreement. Wonder if the Utah permit would apply?

I believe UT does cover it.

We need a federal reciprocity law. The idea has been floated by the Trump team.
A right that has to be licensed, permitted, or delayed is a right denied. Would like to see the supreme court take that one.

I dont think UT is right for DE and PA
States in red are recognized in both states

Pennsylvania has reciprocity agreements with many states for concealed carry permits, including Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, New Hampshire, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming

Delaware has reciprocity agreements with 30 states for concealed carry permits:
Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado (resident permits only), Florida (resident permits only), Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, and South Dakota

Delaware Concealed Carry Reciprocity With Other States

Which states' permits does Delaware honor?

Alaska
Arizona
Arkansas
Colorado
Florida
Idaho (Enhanced permits only)
Kansas
Kentucky
Maine
Michigan
Missouri
New Mexico
North Carolina
North Dakota
Ohio
Oklahoma
South Dakota (Enhanced permits only)
Tennessee
Texas
Utah
West Virginia
Delaware recognizes licenses or permits to carry concealed deadly weapons issued by other states that honor Delaware licenses to carry concealed deadly weapons, afford a reasonably similar degree of protection as is provided by licensure in Delaware, and do not evidence a pattern of issuing licenses or permits to convicted felons. Some states issue multiple levels of permits or licenses; only those meeting the above requirements will be recognized in Delaware. Delaware residents must have a Delaware Concealed Deadly Weapon License to carry in the state.

Obviously, double check this. Info from USCCA site.
