Georgia Southern (got a soft spot for them, did some student housing there like 15 years ago, and Stateboro is a nice small town)

Ironic, I used to spend a lot of time down there for some private housing jobs for that school as well (off campus).

Nice area, nice drive from NC (go through some pretty towns), always enjoyed my time down there.

The irony is I never really knew the school existed, but I knew back then that Appalachian State would play them (had a friend whose son was a linebacker at App state).

I forgot who lost to who this year, but it cost them a lot of money to lose.

I had to look. 2007 Michigan only paid App state 400K (under 700K in today's money). I remember that game, it was CRAZE around here LOL

When I moved here in 2001, my supervisor down here went to that school. That's where we drove on my second trip down here looking at the job because I told him I didn't care for the Winston Salem area, but him knowing I loved WV, knew to take me up into the mountains to the school (it worked LOL). He also very quickly corrected my pronunciation of the school LOL

Barkley actually has a good chance of breaking the rushing record.

Nah, that was predictable. It was a “let down” game. The players look at the competition and don’t take them as seriously. Been going on since High School.
Before the game started, I thought it would be a win or loss by a field goal.

It was a win in the last minute by a overthrown pass that was an almost catch where the ball hit the ground in the receivers hands.

The guy from Kentucky who bet 3 million on the game must have crapped his pants watching the play live...
