What teams will play in the next Superbowl?

I'm really excited to see how the Phillies do in the playoffs this year. They've had a great season and I think they've got a real shot at making a deep run. As for the Super Bowl, I try not to get too invested in the NFL these days, but I'm always happy to see a good game, no matter who's playing.

I hate to say it , but I think they will lose in the first round versus the Mets.

I learned years ago end of season win totals are insignificant compared to team momentum at the very end of the season. The Mets are riding an emotional high after beating the Brewers. Game 1 masterpiece pitched by Zack Wheeler was ruined and the Phillies lost.
Lesser teams can beat superior teams on emotional momentum.
The Phillies have to win 3 out of 4 to beat the Mets. That’s going to be very difficult. If they do, they will then have the emotional momentum.

What teams_ paid football teams. I don't watch professional football, it's all about the money. You'd be amazed at how much the losers make. Now it's into college football so I stopped watching that too. High school football is still about winning.

Now it's into college football so I stopped watching that too. High school football is still about winning.

The last 40 years college football was ALWAYS about the money. They're just dividing it more now, that's all.

Always enjoyed watching the eagles since the 70's with my family in Pa, as an adult still enjoy watching them. Lot easier watching them the last 20 years vs the 70's

I don't know... they have needed to pay the players something, above board for a Long time, I just don't like how it works. I would be 100% onboard with them getting a "per game" check for maybe $5000 per game if you play, $2500 if you dont play. That gives them money, without it being a case of $5M for a 17 year old unproven guy, from donors/car dealers/insurance companies, ect. It just doesn't seem right for a Uni to make hundreds of millions, and not pay players. Yeah, yeah, great, they get the value of maybe $120k of scholarships, food, housing, ect; but that's not much value to most players. The Vast majority will end up as a HS PE teacher at best. Maybe 1 in 100 will ever get a NFL check, and most of those will get a year or two of leage minimum.

With that, sure, Texas, Florida, Clemson, Ohio, whatever, they could easily eat something like a $500k per game pay roll; but Georgia Southern (got a soft spot for them, did some student housing there like 15 years ago, and Stateboro is a nice small town), no way in heck they can pay travel, training, coaches, facilities, and then pay $500k per game to players.

I've personally know 2 ex NFL guys, and neither are rich. One was back in 1980s, and they didn't make much at all. The other was picked up by KC Chiefs in like 2001, and he was cut in pre-season, but technically, he did play on an NFL team... he might have made $50k, maybe, and that's his total career football earnings.
