40 degrees today high of 60 breezy too. The young man Tyrin will be buried this Tuesday. Family is taking it hard as am I.
Prayers for all our Country
Sad. Condolences. Way too young.
My new PCP signed me up for a Cologuard test instead of a colonoscopy this time around, Kyle. No uncomfortable prep required.
RNG, you're up way to early for the left coast. Elon says he can make rockets faster than the agencies can return his paperwork.
I believe he wanted the real deal so the corporate hospital can get more $$$ I love my MD, but he does work for a "company". I didn't mind so much, because it has been 14 years since my last. I did ask the nurse how many colonoscopies a day they did...."30-35" Wow! Had a volunteer lady greet us at the front door helping us with where to go and another volunteer lady pushed my wheelchair to my daughter's awaiting car.
2 windows a day is good progress IMO.
Rome wasn't built in a day.
Finally got old car removed and off to it's next place.
New car still was not ready last night, hopefully tonight.

Wow, that looks like a really nice car to be headed to the scrapyard. I'd love to find a car like that and find an engine from a crashed/totalled one and recycle them together.
Hope the new car is a reliable one and a doozey.
I got notice from my medical provider that the contract with my Medicare Advantage insurance company was expiring (1/1/25) and the treatment fees were inadequate - they were trying to negotiate a "fair" reimbursement schedule. I got a letter from the insurance carrier a week later confirming "negotiation" wasn't happening and they were nice enough to set me up with a new doctor - 25 miles away. I like my dr and she's right here in town (4 miles). I'm gonna pick new coverage...
I'm going to put out my snow fence (today?) before the weather turns.
Please keep us posted on what you end up doing, I'm at the point I have to start deciding maybe...
Scotty, I was hoping for some help with how to train a Squirrel.

Not good times for trained squirrels.
Wifey said your breakfast sounded good to her.
Drew, train museum looks cool. I would want to go for a day ride.
I've rested Thursday afternoon after the procedure. Doc's said I couldn't drive the whole day. The knockout drug put me out quickly, and I came to quickly afterwards with very little post issues. No hangover.
Yesterday, I decided to work on a hydraulic cylinder from the loader off of my tractor. Should have finished it but I had to find something to clean up the inside of the cylinder. It had been sitting for a long while, and all the fluid had leaked out and a very slight amount of surface rust had started. Used an extension with my die grinder and a nearly perfect fitting abrasive flapper wheel.
Now if I can just get the orange colored piston seal onto the aluminum piston. It is rock hard. I heated it up to 170F in hot water to see if it would go on, but no luck. I haven't ever had this much trouble before with this seal. May heat it closer to 200F in water then try again. They are supposed to stretch over the piston into the groove, and then you have to sometimes use a radiator clamp to compress them a little to get them back into the cylinder. Of course the endcap with all the seals had rust in all the grooves. I usually take them to work and stick them into a lathe and sand them out but I had a 3M scotch wheel that fit for my die grinder and I got them decent looking. It should seal.
All the old seals were completely dilapidated and literally crumbled when I was removing them. 22 years old, and the first 20 years stayed outdoors...
I took off my adblock, and now I have constant ads in the right margins, and ads between each post. Bleh.
Wifey is finally making the pot of beef stew. Smells good.
