Good morning!!!!

Good evening..... seems like I have finally found 5 minutes to post!

Fall has definitely arrived here.... temps have been going lower all week, with a high of only 48° today. Tonight's temp expected to drop to 26°. We may have our first snow overnight, maybe an inch.

Off and on sprinkles today, but only a trace of rain in the gauge. The guessers are predicting storms overnight, so maybe some more can get in the gauge. Hope so.....

It has been a difficult week.....apparently we weren't done with the bad luck.....
Finally got Dona into the PCP. They started panicking over a small lump found on her neck. Then her bloodwork is all out of wack.... which also caused an increase in the panic.....
Unfortunately, the provider she saw was Chinese and speaks very broken English. I can only catch a little more than half of what she says...(and I am fluent in drunk talk from the streets). Then she will ask you a question, but will then talk over you before you can even answer!

I literally had to yell at her " SHUT THE 'F+*' UP AND LISTEN TO WHAT WE ARE SAYING"..... it worked for about 4 minutes. We won't go back to that practice. The only purpose was to get referrals, xrays, and such started for her back. The provider has done NOTHING for her back except for initial xrays, focused solely on the bloodwork......

She now has an appointment at the spine and back center on Tuesday after getting the referral. Then, only after making a pest of myself calling them twice a day for 3 days.....

Going to run two gauntlets at once, in different cities. The one for the back is up in Santa Fe, the other for the abnormal labs and lump in Albuquerque. Each one at a different hospital/health network. We may try to consolidate to the system for the orthopedic services up in Santa Fe. That system is part of the Mayo network.

Unfortunately, Dona still can barely walk, has constant pain, and really has a hard time laying down. I wish I could post an xray on here..... L3,4, and 5 kinda look like this: //-\\-// ....

She can sleep for maybe 30 minutes to an hour. She's really dragging. I have become quite the domestic engineer.....

I'll try to check in when I get a chance. I need to keep everything moving, no one else will....

Everyone have a great evening!

Good Evening RS,
Added some whole peppercorns and then dug out some very old Caraway seeds - which are probably close to being as old as I am - and mixed those in
Being of German decent, that looks very good to me! I remember my Mom putting in the caraway seeds and the flavor they had ! Good memories ! 🙏

I’m pretty good at ignoring the ads, refuse to click on them. Seems I always have at least 2 in right margin and then floating ads every few posts. AAF I think the kids say. The Tapatalk app is even worse. Miss the old TBN app.
Maybe time to find an adblocker.
since the old TBN app stopped working, I use Duckduckgo on the phone. no ads.

36 going to 62. Real nice outside...lots of stars, and the ISS is supposed to fly by in a little over an hour.

Thank you for the many condolences and sympathies expressed for my mom's passing.

Ron, I know what you mean about resetting Sassy's clock. My son and DIL and granddaughter are here visiting, and we altered her nap and bedtime schedule to get her used to waking up an hour later. Didn't work for me. I've been up a while.

Been gone from TBN a week, so some catching up to do.
Prayers. I pray that dealing with all the details are not too bad.

Prayers for Ted and Donna may the doctors find solutions to help.

Prayers for Buppies and wifey, Ted and Dona.

Been busy. Had Church Fall Festival yesterday, everyone pitched in, a good time and a good bit of money was bid on the auctions. Ate some good sausage and some good homemade cookies and such.

Sounds chilly up north there. Still close to 90 today. Clocks changed at home, will get my student workers to change those at school. Probably have to order a bunch of batteries to put new ones in the clocks.

change your fire alarm batteries! Mine "chirp" at us when the batteries get low. Sometimes annoying if it happens in the middle of the night.

Yes, A&M got their rears kicked. After our great running back went out with a knee injury at the very start of the game, we lost a lot of steam on offense. The Gamecocks seemed like they had greased eel snot on their jerseys, as attempts to tackle just slid off....But we got dominated by a great QB/RB combination who both had great games.

I'm not a fan of the collegiate football transfer portal system, but we had lost so many players to NFL and the portal, we had to use it to fill our roster too.

No ads on my pc, but I do have ads on my android phone.

Speaking of android phone, I may need to update. Work's secure website telling me my OS is a risk. Problem is I can't/won't spend a lot on a phone, and the new Motorolas don't have the best reviews....

Popgadget, besides the dog, I'm wondering if you and wifey sometimes go to the old door just out of habbit? I know I would make a step before I remembered.

I like the time change as it is now. early to bed, and some daylight now before 7am for a few weeks.

Praying for our team, our country, Ukraine and Israel.
