Good (Sunday) morning. Overnight Low of 13.9C and it's presently 17.5C, clear [after an early rain with thunder] and calm. There was 1.3mm in the gauge @ 0800.

Lovely day yesterday... I gave myself a haircut & beard trim.

As per usual, I'm off to Church in a half hour and then the rest of the day is His.

That's about it, take care all.

New curtains on the walls. I started out very precise with the laser level. By the time I got to the last, it was just a good guess at it. Moved one 3 times, it was too tight against the roll up blind. With solid curtains now, kind of redundant.
Can’t believe something that simple took all day, but I did have to wait for the stain to dry.
Also mixed tank of weed juice.

Good Afternoon
This morning got away from me.

Youngest son showed up at 7:30 to work on the Pergo floor he is putting in the basement of the house. I had it all carpeted, he ripped all that out.
At any rate, I made pancakes from scratch and cooked them on the griddle on the the new gas range in the OFH. Silly me, I thought it was non stick, the first pancake I went to flip thought differently. So I seasoned it on the fly.

Went to an estate sale around the corner, and ironically bought fireplace tools as well as patio furniture. Wife decided that I should move our old patio furniture and leave the “new”stuff for the kids.

I grilled lunch for son and his helper, did a few odds and ends, and now it’s time to think about what I’m gonna make for dinner.

Well a bit late for morning or even afternoon,
So evening all.

Fairly quite day a bit cool and few scattered light showers and much cooler today only 44F at 6 PM and starting to get dark out.

Went down Friday and picked up my new front tires for the Branson, tire man coming up Monday to mount them, I had contemplated mounting them myself, but it will be much easier to watch him do them.
11.2-24's being replaced with 300/80R24's

We shall see how they work out, not deep lugged like the R1's but more aggressive and more knobby treads and heavier sidewalls then an R14.

All stay safe and get well.

My wife just threw together a potato dish the other night, with cheese, bacon, and I don't remember what all she said went in it, but it was delicious. Left overs tonight was even better.

Noticed almost all the leaves off the maples, after the wind yesterday. Should have been mowing leaves. I also don't rake, just keep mowing them away from the house until I hit the tree line.

I also don't rake, mainly because I only have one Birch and one Poplar tree in the bush. All the rest are Pine and Tamarack. Tamarack needles are about 3/4" - 1" long. They will be gone by spring.
