Ah heck, there is no good chainsaw. They all create a lot of work.
The best one is the one that starts good and has a sharp chain.

A good saw = one that starts each time you need to use it

A bad saw = junk from day one and never starts when you need it

All other saws are useable saws and require maint from time to time before, during and after use.
My "bad" saw was the echo 4510. It never ran right.

Never owned a battery saw and don't plan on it either. Same applies to lawn mowers.
Agree. EXCEPT for my Milwaukee string trimmer and pole saw. Battery is the only way to go on those.

If you use stinky Red Stabil, it's basically worthless. You want the blue marine Stabil. What I use in all my small power equipment except of course, the saws and the brush cutter.
I was using the Stabil 360 and then noticed it should not be used for making 2-stroke mixes (with 2-stroke oil). The red Stabil can be used with 2-stroke mixtures. I'll have to look at the Stabil Marine.

I used to just buy 5-gallon cans of fuel for my welder, pressure washer etc. and add Stabil to it when I bought it. If I needed 2-stroke, I used some of that gas and then mixed up my 2-stroke blend.

Now I'm buying 1 gallon cans of pre-mix for my chainsaws, blower/vac etc.

Yeah I use the Echo mostly. The wife uses the electro
Bought my wife a battery powered chainsaw. One thing I noticed right away was the chain speed is a lot slower than a gas saw. It's her's not mine. Won't touch it except to adjust the chain tension and put bar oil in it.

Agree. The canned stuff has been worth it to me. Even when I cut cords and cords of firewood. Higher octane, longer shelf life. A good thing. Except, I'm leary of the echo brand. It may be good. It's the just the fuel I was using when I had a chainsaw go bad.

If you watch any TV that carries the shows about logging, log homes, Alaskan living, etc, you'll notice that the only chain saw you see anybody use is a Stihl.
