Good Morning,
Vt, 49 to start going to 76 ! Another sunny day ! Every day should be like the last few !

Got the grass mowed yesterday afternoon before we went out on the lake ! Probably need to do some trimming today , here and there.

Ron, good frog pic on your RV pad, I guess he had plenty of room !

Sitting in front of the wood stove with my coffee this morning ! Probably won’t be too much longer and the stove will be on !

Plans for today, walk along the hedgerows and trim some low branches with my hand held electric chain saw. Maybe some shop Tim also !

Paul, your new home is beautiful and clearly well made. I was wondering about those white square fireplace vents(?) on the outside. While you have white trim, my eye goes right to those square white things, not the beautiful stone. Did they make brown ones?
this is all we have to do...we are watching perfection in front of us.

Good morning! 69 heading to 89, cloudy clearing this afternoon, N wind.
Goodby cool weather, the next 10 days Wii be in the 90s.

We have an unknown snake living on the front porch. My wife has seen it but I have not. I need to find out where he is hiding he is only 18" long.

Last at home PT this morning before the real work starts next week when I can drive to
PT. Dr said to practice driving in a parking lot to find my limitations.

The dr asked about sleep and so does the PT. Ron had to sleep in a recliner for 6 months. I am getting decent sleep in the extra bedroom during what my wife calls our "sleep divorce". Hopefully it will last only a few more weeks, but we are both sleeping well during these joint repair recoveries.

finally I get to cook for myself instead of microwaving stuff.
Temps are now down so don't mind adding a little heat.
made some eggs and turkey sausage and boy did it taste better than
what I've been eating.

because of that mouse, now quite deceased, part of my day today will be cleaning the floor of this entire rv. What a mouse eats...
already did the bathroom, now going to take rugs out and wash down the floor with antiseptic mix. Will also clean out the cab since that's where mouse chewed bits were found.
and check out my silicone spatula inside a sealed drawer in kitchen.
clearly not sealed...
that went into the trash this morning.
if they'll eat high temp silicone, you know they'll like your wires...

last night some awesome motorhomes came in, including an all white Newell. A rolling palace with a 600hp diesel.
This place is pretty full now and all top of the line rvs.
I"ll walk around again today, but yesterdays check 'em out was really fun.
and to be in an all adult section is just marvelous.

Got the eufy camera installed outside and did some general cleanup after working late at day job.

Today to the dentist to see about getting a cracked tooth fixed.

Retired Army Colonel, friend. He used to go to our church before his 2nd career retirement to Myrtle beach.
We have a unique connection. His wife’s daughter (from previous marriage) married the son of a guy in WV, who I bought land from back around 1999. I sold that mountain top land a few years later.

40F headed to a nice 75F today.

Predicting fire behavior must be difficult. Yesterday, the National Weather Service put out a "Particularly Dangerous Situation (PDS) Red Flag Warning." First use ever for that sort of warning, triggered by strong winds, low humidity, and the nearby Davis fire.

There were grim predictions of communities going up in flames, which did not happen. Winds did gust over 70mph, but all fire lines held.

The weird part was a news blackout. We usually get 2-3 news updates each day about the fire. After the ominous predictions, there were no further updates throughout the day which was not typical. Then last night it was announced that pretty much none of the ominous predictions had occurred.

Took us 12 hours yesterday preparing to evacuate. Probably take half that amount of time today to put everything back the way it was. Glad the fire lines held, but something was definitely funky with a news blackout. We, and the neighbors, don't understand that at all.

They are blocks of Azek routed out for electrical boxes for outside light fixtures, receptacles, and the dryer vent. They will be painted to blend into the stone, but I couldn’t come up with a better way to deal with mounting them.

I installed my eufy camera at dad’s house, which is why I bought it. Hope it gets enough light.
Hope they go on sale again soon, I want another, but would rather save $50.

I kind of like the contrast;

White hardi board was used corner and window trim as well as for lamps and receptacles, and to box around conduits for the in concrete heat in the walk way portion of the slab outside.
