I’m sorry, I thought RSKY was trying to be funny with his post but now I understand it. Yes you can have a front hub electric bike. With hub drives the motor is usually helping without going through the different gears on the bike if that makes any sense. They aren’t powering the bike through the chain.

My bike is a mid drive so the power is being supplied in the area of the cranks and is going through the chain and bike gears.

I feel this is actually an important detail to consider when shopping for an e-bike.

Some very inexpensive offerings are available with front drive. It is just so simple! You only replace the entire front wheel with one that has a drive motor in it. Mount a battery "somewhere" on the bike. Put the control module on your handlebars and string wires between the connections. All in a kit package.

Rear wheel motors are only slightly more difficult "depending". Fitted to a single speed bicycle, it's only looping the chain over the sprocket more complex than a front hub drive.

The mid motor (I have that) is more complex in installation, as the crank bottom bracket etc is totally replaced, shifters need reconfigured, chain may require a length change. etc.

If buying a complete bike , all the complication is avoided, but each type has it's own riding "style". It would be good to test ride.

I just wanted something as close as I could get to a straight mountain bike crossed with a light weight motorcycle. ;-) And that is exactly what I got on my "DIY mid drive kit"

I was strongly considering one of these.

But it has no pedals, and I'm getting fat! ;-)

As to "Two wheel drive", These are "Hub Drive Electric Motors" The chain and sprockets only connect the pedal cranks to the rear wheel via a sprag clutch.
The motors are Direct drive.
RPM, and so speed, is a function of applied current opposed by load. The two motors accommodate one another.

Okay, I see that.

Front drive bikes have a problem with traction when climbing hills with less than ideal surfaces. Of the 90 or so riders in my riding group no-one has a front drive.

I was getting all exited researching different brands/types of E-bikes and dreaming of all the places I could travel to on one. Then my wife uh,...pulled the plug on my dream. "You are seventy years old, have an artificial knee, inner ear and balance problems, and always try to do things like you were fifteen! You don't need a thirty mph electric bike! Cause I know the second day you had it you would be out with the neighborhood teenagers seeing how fast you could go around corners!" Not her exact words but close enough.

Checking on local parachute clubs. I'll show her who's old!

Most e bikes won’t do 30 mph unless it’s downhill. I average somewhere between 12 and 13 mph on my bike rides.
