Kubota b2400 SOLD. Now a Massey Ferguson 285 SOLD. Now a Kubota 50HP
I have a 4wd L4850 Kubota. Present tires are 14.9 R28 rears and 9.5 R20 fronts. They appear to be factory original, but I don't know for sure. I want to go to turf tires, but those are only available in the 13.6 R28's. Major problems, right?

It gets worse. The service manual says 13.6 R28 rears and 8.3 R20's front. So now I'm in a quandary. If it was a 2wd tractor, I'd just throw the 13.6's on. Given it's 4wd, I'm unsure as to what my next steps should be. Any thoughts? Are the front/rear ratios the same and safe to run that way? Trust the manual? Trust the existing tires?

Thanks all

Something for you to look at:

willy
Thank you Willy. It states the tire size as per what I'd found in the manual, unfortunately it then goes on (at the "speed 2" heading) to then say "with 14.9-28 tires". I suspect it would be best to use the 13.6 R28's as per the manuals, not the existing 14.9's...
