I have a New Holland 7308 loader.
While digging up some roots the mounting plate bolts must have sheared off.
The mounting plate bent and fell off.

Can this be straightened or does it need to be replaced?

Thanks

Kurt

It looks like it can be easily straightened.
Don't beat on it, just put the good part of the flat center connecting piece in a big vise and use a cheater bar or big cresent wrench to straighten the bend. Go slow. Should be good as new.

Good welding shop should be able to fix.

The damage looks pretty localized to that bottom plate. It should be easy enough so straighten. A welding shop wouldn’t charge a lot to do it if you don’t have the tools.

LOL........
Stuck it in my vice put an 18 inch pipe clamp on the end.
With 190# of my weight - could not budge it.
Will look for a welding shop tomorrow.

You could straighten that out with a good shop press or have a fab shop do it for you.

Good post and repair follow up. Keep checking your bolt tightness. Paint or marker marks to visually check. If future bolt breakage or frame flexing may consider adding gussets or plate to strengthen.

Happy Trails

Shops here are expensive, for a reason. Welding stuff is high. And the labor is difficult. Otherwords overhead

If it were mine I would straighten and reinforce the bent plate to prevent a repeat.
