Looks like a nice machine for someone with a need and $35K burning a hole in their pocket.

Posting for neighbor is almost always scam
I would have to disagree. How many old timers out there don't have Facebook? Plenty! What is the best way to sell things in this day and age? Facebook Marketplace.

Well YEAH!! Those things ROCK, but the price tag is hefty. I can't afford either, but that is OK because my Branson has never let me down.

I suspect it's legit based upon the price and wording, however, any time a seller tries to distance himself from the specifics I get concerned.
The typical scam is deployed military, shipping agent has machine, ebay warehouse, etc...
Easiest tactic would be to try to arrange an in person viewing of the equipment. That's when they'll say it's at the shipping warehouse, another state than advertised, blah, blah, blah.

I don't know who put up the ad, but I've seen other military surplus equipment for sale parked near the interstate at Crossville for years.

I agree! I have been quite successful vetting things I buy on FB marketplace by looking at the post, pictures, and the sellers other things for sale and profile. I feel like it is rather obvious when it is a scam and even ,more obvious once you start talking to them and they start pulling the blah, blah, blah like you mentioned above.

I’d have to disagree. People post stuff for other people that don’t use Fb all the time. When they want you to email them that’s almost always a scam. This guy is offering to meet you in person to look at it which a scammer never does.
