It seems like every weather service has a different forecast and it changes every time we look at it. Snowblower is in the barn. Should I go get it or not?

Good morning, the low is 15 and going to a high of 28°F. Wind SW 7 mph. 60% chance of flurries.
The temperature is warming up.

Went and scraped my driveway, didn't need to but did it anyway.

I never hear the clink, clink, clink of tire chains. Could it possibly be the straight pipe?

Town and dump run today.

Trying to make sense of this;
would never work in a building that is accessible to much of the public?

If I am reading this correctly you would not work in a building that is open to everyone?
Like every person that works in any retail establishment does?

Ct, 16 to start going to 35 !

Kathleen says that there is more Christmas decorations to remove !
Went out at 6 this morning to get the paper, and it was definitely chilly !
I am mad at myself for not bringing the 4 front rocker legs back from Vt, but honestly the temp in my Ct unheated garage is not conducive to doing much out there ! Will double check the snowblower and also our generator today !
I am kind of jealous of people that have whole house automatic generator ! No need to go out into the weather and start the generator and plug it into the house ! We dont lose power too often, but when you do,,,,,

Morning all, 21 going up to 39 and clear, calling for snow tomorrow (maybe).
Not much done due to day job.

Drew - I have the sawzall and blades ready to go.

Drove the kid to school again as wife is sick, hopefully just a cold.

Brought up snow shovel, haven't put plow on tractor, but it's lined up to quick swap with bucket if needed. Have edge tamers too if needed and a good little snow blower.

Weather forecasting seems to be more erratic as we get a forecast of 1" rain and 4-7" shows up. They are not even saying how much snow we will get here tomorrow...

Everyone be safe in your travels and feel better.
When it snows, we get a lot of cars in ditches around here on the narrow roads.
But I see it as a teaching moment for my son to learn how to drive in the snow, in a parking lot to start.

When younger we used to do a lot of crazy stuff in our cars when it snowed. My friend had a pinto and we had tires and ropes. Getting his car out of snow banks was a team effort! Probably get arrested for doing that today.
Learned how to replace the front panels on a pinto quickly as he would bend them up and buying used panels was cheap. Front quarter panel change out in 15 minutes

21 this morning not much ice for us .12 in probably less. NWS going nuts with WSW then next week flooding rain. Until high pressure in Atlantic gets beat down this is our lot. Duck Duck Go for me too Ron over a year now.

When I retired in 2004. One of the first things I did was have a wholehouse generator installed. Sure was a savior when wife was on oxygen and power went out. I hooked up a portable generator for over 30 years whenever power went out.
Also had gas line to shop put in at same time.

Costco was a go yesterday no crowds.

We have had 1.25” of rain this year.

On my own PT today at the neighborhood fitness center, then maybe mow the lawn if the sun comes out and dries it up.

Feeling good enough to reserve a short mid winter cruise.

Highly vaccinated Brother is finally testing negative for Covid that he caught during Christmas.
