Then welding is the only option on the back of that JD bucket. No way would you want to drill & bolt thru both walls.

No on the drilling.
My 2 other JD buckets have grd70 3/8 Clevis hooks welded to back bottom side of bucket

Down towards the bottom where inside of JD bucket is curved is doubled walled on 4&5k series tractors.

That's true on the smaller buckets too, but not the entire back wall as your post read.
