that's what had my attention a mile away.Hopefully it’s not still active, at least with that equipment.
you guys would have had a good laugh if I pulled out the Reynolds Wrap
and made myself a big hat...

Wife and I and oldest son coming in Feb.Thanks, Dennis. One thing I’m avoiding this trip is car rental. Expecting our son will be chauffeuring in Dc area, as will Sophie’s sisters, except when one lends us her 2nd car to visit our old friends in AZ.
That said, am hoping we get to visit when you come to Big Island, Hilo side. Just you and wife or a group?
Cutie.Easy, but long day trip to Raleigh yesterday. Isabel is a darling.View attachment 823726
Good teaching.Grandson (7 yrs old) got his first deer last evening. Using my .44 mag rifle, got himself a little button buck, at about 40 yards. Momma came out a few minutes later, to see what the ruckus was maybe. We let her check us out for awhile, until she winded us and ran back off. He made an almost perfect lung shot and he only went about 30 yards. We were able to teach him about blood trailing and field dressing. Proud Dad and young shooter:

I'm getting my second dose shingles vaccine this morning. First one hit me a little hard. Hope this one is better.
Maybe the first word on the sign should be NO. And Only put out NO hunting signs otherwise it looks like you permit hunting or really don't care if people hunt. hunting by permission is interpreted as hunting is permitted.Mrs. ask another hunter to leave property, hunter told Mrs. " I didn't think anyone would mind" as he park by HUNTING BY PERMISSION ONLY sign.![]()

Beautiful chest! That is some fine precision work for sure!Good Afternoon m7040,
I was a toolmaker/modelmaker for almost 40 years, and did have a Gerstner tool chest. But as a woodworker my plan was always to build my own chest !
I built this chest about 25 years ago. The carcass is black walnut, the drawers are butternut and the diamond inlays are rosewood. The drawer pulls are brass that I turned on a lathe. The drop front iinset is birdseye maple, and I also made the spring loaded locks that hold the front up while in the locked position ! Fun project !
