Ouch, that may get expensive fast. Hope no damage other then superficial.
Good Evening Guys,
Rough day here, not only did I shear the wires at the pole but I damaged the meter box 500 ft away on the front of the house !
Had an electrician come out and he repaired the meter box for $290, now I’m waiting for Green Mountain Power to come back out to repair the damage at the pole ! Hopefully power some time tonite ! Wife is happy I didn’t electrocute myself but not to happy with the situation now ! 😩😩

Good (Saturday) morning. Overnight Low of 8.9C and it's presently 20.1C, mostly cloudy with a strong & steady wind. These lovely temperatures are expected to last 'til Wednesday, when I'll need to put the fire back on in the woodheater.

It looks like the 'fuel reduction' burn is out as the wind was fairly blustery last night and there was no flare-up.

It took quite a few hours for the single horse in Paddock #1 to calm down (separation anxiety), but he's OK now.

That's about it, take care all.

Successful day (apparently opposite of others). Got the deck disassembled.... apparently I didn't want it to come apart after I built it.... filled two 5 lb containers with screws and wore out 3 screw tips.
But the area is now clear for foundation work. Even got the bottom row of wood siding off and measurements marked.

Found out Max does not like the oscillating saw..... wifey said he was in the furthest spot in the house away from the noise, shaking badly. He didn't have any issues with the circular saw or the impact screwgun..... ???

Knee started complaining and the back decided not to be left out of the complaint dept. Good stopping point....

Realized that even though I had restacked the materials, I made the same mistake again.... the first materials needed are halfway in the pile... under the 25 sheets of sheathing, which is under the 2 bundles of 80 2x4's.....
I really don't know what I was thinking......

Not too bad though, I'm going to take the bundles out anyway. Then just I'll just have to move the sheathing.

Weather was absolutely perfect! The next few days should be repeats, so hoping to get the foundation set to go for a pour on Monday.

Hope everyone has a quiet evening!

Finds for today: Coleman camp stove and grandpa's vintage Dearborn propane heater.

Brief shower while we were taking 3 trailer loads full of stuff to the estate sale and a nice .59" of rain at home. Temp was in the upper 80s so we were able to work till we got through with gathering stuff from the remote site.
