Anyone know if the L2180 quick hitch and subframe (from the L40 series) for front plows and snowblowers will fit the L60 series? I see them for sale and reasonably priced. I'm sure some extra parts would be needed but is it possible for it to bolt up or has too much changed- new L60 fuel tank location? Probably depends on the subframe brackets.

The L2180 doesn't have much in the way of frame brackets.
In early versions there was only one bracket mounted on the tractor. It attaches where the brush guard mounts to the frame. Two large pins would hold the Main frame (L2180) to this bracket and the back of the subframe was held up by the draw bar. Later versions L2180-1 also used two brackets near mid engine that accept pins. I believe these were only added in the bolt together subframe became loose and to reduce liability.
There is no mention in the wholegoods price sheet if it will fit or not, but I am guessing that one could make it work. The subframe is adjustable to handle different wheel bases and the front main mounting plate could be redrilled if needed. I ran the L3130 for many years with just the front and drawbar attachment points, only adding the update kit to make it into L2180-1 configuration (midship brackets) about two years ago when transferring to the L4740-3.

We are discussing the sub frame that goes under the tractor to allow using a mid mount PTO to drive a snowblower and such.
