Don't try to shone the electric car thing down my throat because you won't like the result.
The best part is that he is doing it because he wants to, not because of government interference. To me that makes sense right tool for the job at hand. It should never be either-or, mix power sources as needed.
Wow do you feel better now.. Lol**** Rivian and **** their useless, overpriced, self-pleasure aid of a 'truck'.
I've never seen a vehicle so guaranteed to be driven by a self-important, ageing boomer male, with more money than sense. Being stuck behind one of these folks driving around coastal Maine makes me want to set fire to these fair weather residents lovely homes.
Irrational anger? Maybe, but these trucks are a symbol of so much I loathe in the world. I'd rather be force-fed a Tesla.
I see Lordstown Motors (Rivian) is about to fold. NASDAC pulled their stock today. Trading at under a buck.
Prius Prime (a more correct analog) has 6.4 sec 0-60. More importantly, the law of diminishing returns basically makes it moot. The average for all cars is about 6.1. Having driven both a regular Prius and a Prime for many years, I would say it doesn't matter. I'm an aggressive driver and never had acceleration issues in traffic. I'm also guessing that if you regularly drive your EV to get to 60 in 3.0, you will drain your battery even faster.Don't know of any stock Prius that can get to 60 MPH in 3.1 seconds.
WoW the New Prius model is now much quicker than the old ones 10.5 seconds to 60
Now with a blistering 7.1 to 60 MPH time so still takes 4 seconds longer than a stock Model S
