Beautiful bowl.
LS, nice job in the greenhouse. My wife wants one.

Back from breakfast on the mountain. They are still as slow as always, which is why we’ve been going to a different place.
64° and up to .14” rain, real light right now.
Chilly sitting on porch, might have to go inside.

Phil, you have an amazing talent.... I have always wanted to turn things, never even tried.... beautiful work!

Drew, good to hear that the mower worked well. Looks to be well made. I hope our new rose plantings bloom this year.

Paul, great pics of the field and the family. I was being bad the other day.... stopped in the R/C hobby store in town. They had a Carbon Cub ARTF, for $299. My intuition told me that I better not.....it was hard to leave empty handed.
Definitely a nicely built plane.

Dennis, never realized how much a little greenhouse helps with the garden / landscaping projects. There was a beautiful one on display at Costco about a month ago.... then 2 weeks later it was gone.... wonder if there was a supplier issue.

65°F and no rain.

Perhaps my biggest project for the summer, promised Sophie to repaint the house exterior. Actually have a friend coming over the month of Jun for that purpose. But of course that requires preparation and that starts today in earnest. I’ve already bought the paint and most of the supplies. Except another section of scaffold. But I need to power wash and fix any areas needing attention. Figure most of the wood structure will require 2 good pw, the first to reduce any mold/mildew and a second just before painting to reduce any dust. Today I’ll start the 1st pw. 4 major structures, 16 walls.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

68F, cloudy with some light rain @ 13:00, heading up to around 75F for the high.

Got a couple more blueberry plants and rhubarb roots plus a few other items ordered night before last.

Ran down to the Autozone yesterday afternoon and picked up correct rear brake pads which had come in.

Came back and got those installed, after cleaning up calipers and lubing up their bolts real good.

Wheels reinstalled and bolts torqued to 177 ft lbs ... just as it was starting to sprinkle.

Put Cub away over in barn.

Took van a for test drive ... have nice quiet braking and good pedal now.

Stopped and collected mail on way back in, then stopped to check mealworm feeder ... mealworms a little more than half gone ... (y)

Probably should recheck that today, given the weather.

Have appointment later to get a couple new tires installed on van.

After that maybe see if I can get the welding finished up on the grapple.

Hope everyone had a Good Friday ... and is having a Good Saturday ... (y)

Guess this is a comment on my BBQ skills?
That looks like a young buzzard. Isn't that the bird (baby buzzard?) that is drawn to the smell of dead animals?

Afternoon shift also canceled because of rain. Light rain now and 1.1" so far for the day.

On my 430, the pull rod for the PTO took the arm over center and that’s what kept it engaged. To disengage it you had to move the handle on the rod a bit sideways to get it off the over center position. If yours is worn, maybe a simple spring to keep it over center
I made the flippy thing, I will try to install it later, depending on how weather holds after taking dog up and down the mountain. The pull rod is vertical and the pivot rod travels from about 4 o’clock to 2 o’clock and back, so it really doesn’t get to go over-center on my tractor. Total travel is about two inches vertically.

I will try using a small bungee as a spring before drilling for a cotter pin for flippy, just to see if that works - thank younformthensuggesrion!
