Doug- Awesome solution.

Thomas- Thanks, The safety seat switches “disconnected,” I really should clean the electrical contacts, etcFritz- Thanks, I pulled the plugs and they looked to be in pretty good shape, but I did not test for spark, and I need to get some starting fluid. It’sgreat to read about your Daughter’s achievements.

David- Great news about Sophie.

Kyle- If you can avoid statins keep doing so

Bruce- Yesterday afternoon the smoke plume moved back in and it was a red sky/sun sunrise this morning.
Ron- Nice picture. With all the competition over the suet cakes the woodpeckers have been taking over the sunflower feeder. I am going through 2 suet cakes/day now.

Drew- I gave up on protecting the blueberries that We planted.

Buppies- It is good to read the you got some restful sleep last night.

Kilroy- Thanks for the laughs.

Ted- I usually drain the rider’s gas tank for the Winter. And I did use “marine grade” fuel stabilizer. 😱 I keeep forgetting to post how much I really enjoy seeing your oasis developing.

A smoke plume overcast morning with 51ºF as the morning's low temperature. The sun was deep red and filtered enough to see some sunspots. These weather conditions continue and it is 73ºF ATM which should be near today's maximum temperature.

I did the weekly shopping run early to avoid the heat, and this afternoon Wifey and I are going shopping for a replacement for our +30year old convection-microwave which gave up the ghost 2 days ago. I hope that We find a unit that can fit within the cabinet existing opening.

I took this picture yesterday

Slept in too late.
But got a BX BH dolly thrown together using a 2x6, a couple 2x4s, wheels from Amazon.
IMG_9189.JPG

Remember I said the 2x6 had cracks I missed seeing buying it. The front piece cracked driving the lags on the wheels, but partly because my drilled holes should have been larger. I will have to replace that piece.
Made a video of the first use, but will have to edit a little for YouTube. Had to set phone down to use both hands a couple times. Also got a finger in front of camera once. Maybe I’ll just shoot a new video.
But it works great. 2nd pic with it unattached from tractor, except for hoses.

Time for a Dagwood

Found out my torque wrench only goes to half of what the back tractor lugs need.

Will need more than 1 screw at the front, will need to put in bolts. I already broke it.

Morning all, 60 going up to....80 and sunny.
Drove to one pool store to get salt, all they had were a few ripped bags, off to the next store and got there after closing, so 1.5 hours of driving for nothing.
Got back and planted some of the wifes flowers and did some pool cleaning and maintenance.

Sodamo - great to hear Sophie eye improvements, that has to be a big relief

Maybe go finally get some pool salt later.

Got the pool cover into the wheelbarrow once I was sure the paint was fully dried. That thing is heavy.

Be well,

Serious question: what is the difference between pool salt and water softener salt? I don’t have either one - just curious…

I am following her stories about her managers over time. Some of them are worth a study for student of Psychology

Jay great shot of those beautiful Orioles. I like that orange feeder.

Kyle, sorry your daughter will start a semester later. But it is the long run that counts. Bet she was excited about prom.

Your places look green and pretty. Let's me know I've got to get back to work outside.

I hiked up Apple Orchard Mountain again, then down to the A.O. Falls and up Cornelius Creek...so many waterfalls, cascades, and slides. Oak trees had not leafed out at the at the higher elevation, but the rhododendrons were blooming lower down and lots of wildflowers along the way.

Good Morning All

still going through the motions, slow going process

might mow the lawn today with the zero turn

I just came across this interesting find on MarketPlace. Never heard of it... guessing the 12 / 39 is the hp / mower deck. Has a 12 hp briggs & straton. Anyone know anything about this ... a Toro brand perhaps ??? I'm just curious because I've never seen one. I like the odd-ducks :)

Unlikely to see one here in Oz but 12 HP doesn't sound a lot even for a 39" cut. Probably possible to fit a bigger donkey in it if needed.

Billy- Thanks for the +'s and thank you for your awesome pictures. Pending bird pics at some point- hummingbird, catbird, hair backed pterodactyl.

Kilroy- I really like your heavy duty ATV setup.

Today's high temperature was 75ºF and it was a pretty drive for the microwave purchase. We bought a replacement microwave that will pretty much fill the existing cabinet cavity. I find it difficult to spend a lot of $ to redo/upgrade our existing Corian® countertop, built-in oven and countertop stove, and kitchen cabinetry for our short term enjoyment so some new owner in the future will tear it all down and redo it all over again..

The most important thing about that setup is that we get back our bed storage 😁👍
