Good (Monday) morning. Overnight Low of 8.8C and it's presently 22.1C, clear with light variable winds.

Last evening turned out to be a 'turn off the TV and rock-out to tunes on YouTube'. That is until Penelope the pussybeast said, "Oi! That's enough. Go to bed."

I'll need to make a quick trip into town for a PO pick-up and then top up the ute with petrol as I'm off to Launceston tomorrow morning for a general/annual servicing. I'm looking to leave here around 0800 so I won't be posting on TBN until later.

I learned a harsh lesson with a '98 K1200RS motorcycle and an '03 540i car, Buppies. Both of them spent almost as much time at the dealer for recalls and "free" maintenence that caused as much damage as it fixed. All stemming from a German attitude of let's make it complicated, even if it doesn't work. Left a bad taste in my mouth, and a big hole in my pocket. German stuff is OK if you've got plenty of warranty, but watch out below when it's gone.

Good evening all. 49ºF for the start, partly cloudy, light breeze. Windy, sky clouded up in afternoon. T-storms started about 4, sirens went off 2 times. 1.4 inch in rain gauge, no more in forecast for a while. Did get puttering done, boat steering greased, started that little with 3 grease gun that did not work . Got little one working, cartridge was almost empty and would not eject properly. Did get nap in.
Ron good to hear pressure tank installed, hope water pressure issues resolved. Hope NASCAR was good. Nice pic
Drew good update, glad trip is going so well. Good luck getting the last of everything fixed.
Drew sorry about shelf and ditty bag incident.

Coffee has finished brewing. 36° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 62° with rain in pm. Got motorcycle jack handle painted. Cut a new insulating pad for under Mule seat. It keeps sound and heat down. Turned on outside water to barn. Was going to give Mule and tractor a bath. By the time I got everything ready NASCAR race was starting. Right guy won the race.
Need to get a hair cut today. Then will see about get Mule and tractor washed.
Sassy on her way back form chasing Ducks, Sandhill Cranes, Squirrels and Fox out of her yard.

Good Morning!

God has given us another chance to get it right (or at least not screw up too badly).

currently 37.8F, going to 60’s later.

Yesterday we dragged a bunch of logs over to the sawmill, and somehow managed to bump the key to (on) after shutting down to take a break, so tractor wouldn’t crank. Luckily, I have A 10W Solar Panel that I attached, and while we worked on more withies in the barbed wire fence, it charged up and cranked just fine about an hour later. Mrs then suggested I pick up a couple more of those panels, so a trip to Horrible Fright is in the near future.

Waiting to hear back from a contractor on grading the landing spot for the incoming shed, hopefully something can be done soon.

Our 4H plant order should be ready for pickup tomorrow. Getting some fruit trees, fruit bushes, and some grapevines, plus a couple other odds and ends.

This will probably be the last week for tax work, so we can work on our stuff in earnest soon.

puppy hates sleeping in our room, even without crate, so Mrs had another night on the couch with pup. But at least everyone gets some sleep. Pup has two more days of meds to finish.

Kilroy, have you picked a brand of scaffolding? I need to get some, too, or rent a man lift for a project.

Ran through two tanks of gas on the blade trimmer, but finished up in our yucca "grove" where the mower won't fit. Then mowed all the places it would fit, as well as the high areas in the yard...lots of wild onions this year.

good morning all
31 in Hagerstown MD, rv little cold this morning but since last day cranked up the propane furnace.
bit of maintenance this morning, the not fun type, but what you have to do with an rv, flush out the black tank before bringing it home. I put in extra cleaner last night in both black and grey tanks, really should go drive with it in to slosh around but no way of doing that here. My tank level indicators are all gummed up, black tank shows half full all the time. that tells me the sensors are mucked up.

3 grease gun that did not work .
that sounds really frustrating, just couldn't get a prime?
sure has happened to me. Once I got a Dewalt cordless problems went away. Wish I still had it, but my air powered one seems to get a prime fairly consistently. Just don't have that much to grease anymore.

decided to go straight home and not stop at dealership, take the bumpy PA turnpike instead. Going to get dealer to send the hot water heater electric element to me, going on a certain someone's list of mechanical to do's at home.

no rush this morning, just going to take things as they come.
This two week trip has been fun, tiring, and memorable. Doing this at my age all by myself is challenging, biggest issue is staying awake while driving. Safer to have someone to talk to.

sure have the itch to get home and see what is blooming. Now if I can end this trip without hitting mailbox backing into the lane, that would be really good...
