My chipper only runs in reverse

In the 3rd picture there appears to be solenoid operated valve right behind what appears to be tee fittings. Do you know what this valve connects to or operates? In the picture it looks like it might just connect the two lines together.

Good eye, that is part of the loader, there is a button inside to activate it and allow the skid steer attachments to be locked from inside hydraulically . Cool huh. The problem was that the chipper had the check valve put in backwards. Careful inspection revealed an arrow on the valve.

Now that you've got folks trying to offer help, I'll chime in...

Where your chipper is working in reverse, are you feeding it wood chips as it spits out brush?
