Looking at another video online, it seems it might be normal. You didn’t hear this when you test drove it?

Yup, I’ve watched several videos on YT, and each in each one there is a very loud rattle in the rear end. It seems normal. Not sure what it is

I didn't notice the noise at first only later when I was home with the machine, so can't definitively say it wasn't there. I tried looking on YT too but couldn't find a video where I could clearly hear the rear end over the engine noise. Which one did you look at?

Don't sound good, but make sure it's not just something rattling....rops, smv sign bracket, lots of stuff rattles on my Bobcat near back end, and rattles change with changes to what operator is doing with machine.

My ct2025 hydrostatic, essentially a Kioti, has clutch pedal. Used to select speed range as well as pto. Normal thing.

hi, its definitely in the rear end, just trying to figure out if that noise is normal before I retake possession of it. Isn't the ct2025 the same machine? Do you notice a noise like the one in the video?

Listen from 9:00 to the end… Unless the engines are really that noisy? Every video I watch of this unit has a loud rattling noise.

i have the bobcat version with 105 hours. I will check tomorrow when doing chores, but i do not recall hearing any sound or vibration difference with clutch in or out. And FWIW you only need clutch to start (safety) and use the rear pto. no need when shifting ranges.

thanks, that sounds like the engine noise, they are quite loud, when throttled up it will drown out the rear end noise.

Ok. Mine sounds like a vacuum cleaner, without any mechanical clatter, so I was unsure if that was the engine or not.
