message saying they had a big server move or something, and clearly working out the bugs
nasty weather coming in tomorrow, more rain mixed with snow.

Good Morning!!!! 55F @ 8:15AM. Sunny. High around 65F. Winds light and variable.
I hope that forecast is accurate; It's been blowing like crazy here for the past few days, and thumpin' and bumpin' all night.
Still rain in the 10-day, but not enough to amount to anything.
ge
Hope the performance issues are resolved here on TBN. Still kinda glitchy.

Time for a game cam on the garbage cans, Ken.

Can't go wrong with a 10/22, Kyle. Best to teach him about safety glasses and ear protection, too. Wish somebody had taught that to me at his age.

If you have power in the out buildings, Jim, you can put access points on the inside of each one, then run an Ethernet cable through the wall to the PTP antennas.

OK talk with the new realtor yesterday. He's lived in the area most of his life, so knows it well. But says it's still a seller's market, with most homes selling in 30 days or less. Says the place with the bonus room my friend found has been on the market 45 days because it's over priced. He promised to tour me around the neighborhoods next trip down, and put me on the Berkshire Hathaway portal for new listings notifications. Seems to think interest rates are on the way down, which doesn't match with the info I've been seeing, so don't know what's going on with that. So we'll see how this goes, but for now he's gonna have to show me he's worth his commission.

Once again, no word from the insurance adjustor.

Got the last oil line replaced on the Ford, then ran out of battery getting the lines purged and the engine started. Put it on a charger for another try today.

Finally got a warranty authorization to return the security cam recorder, so got it boxed up just in time to find an email with a pre-paid mailing label. That'll save me some cash; that thing's heavy!

You are looking within Lompoc city limits?

The IMAC would not start up and went to a black screen after startup attempt

Not sure if it is a software issue or hardware. Have set up appointment for next week to have Geek Squad look at it.
May have to get another worst case

Could not get into the site today thought it was an iPhone issue but realized there were site issues

Would like to get a Mac with the M2 chip. Anyone have that?

Nice day out today, but I was on computer all day just cranking out numbers to make sure I can stay retired. LOL

Trip into town done successfully! Roads were still snow packed for the first 20 miles until I actually got into town..... then it was like it never snowed! The roads were dry, no snow at all!

By the time I was on my way home, the roads up in the mountains were clear and just wet. Getting cloudy again, chance of some snow showers tonight.

Made some burgers on the grill (yes, I grill in the snow) and some beer-battered fries. Both were excellent!

Good evening
I usually use Tapatalk on my iPhone or iPad to access TBN, and it, as well as the TBN website were “wonky” at best.
Seems to be working ok now.

I have Ethernet cable and quad shielded RG6 between my house and shop in conduit buried 36” deep. Both have surge protection at either end.

I’m presently using the Ethernet cable for internet with outdoor access points on the front and rear of the shop, an apple AirPort Extreme for Wi-Fi inside, and hardwire to the desktop and cameras which are all POE.

Considering using a Verizon network extender via the Coax to extend the indoor Wi-Fi from the house to the shop, but need to do some homework. Networking isn’t my strong point, and I’m not familiar with MoCA, and how it would compare to the Ethernet.
