Still 4 items that I cannot find where they are let alone what their name is.
google the mac address might get you close to the manufacturer. Also check things like thermostats, any smart light switches, garage door opener, etc..

Finally TBN is working with the app. Using my computer was the pits.

Well, almost working. Not working now

good morning all
errands finished, ordered a new set of sunglasses to replace the almost new pair I lost.
Think I left them in the glasses box on the ceiling of the Ram truck I sold. Pretty dumb, and expensive.
looks like a fairly sunny nice day out.

After I drained the hot tub, I put dehumidifier on high, hope to get it totally dry before I leave.

not sure what today has planned. Have most of my packing done, two small suitcases this time instead of one large and one small.
The large suitcase was just too big for the train last year. Getting on and off the steps takes some help from the porter. I always tip them well so they
are happy to help.

Good morning to all! Low of 17°, heading for a high of 34°. Received about 4" of snow overnight. Sunny now, but still cold.... only 20°. I'm hoping the bright sun will take care of most of it.....

Unfortunately, I need to run into town in a couple of hours.... roads might be good by then.

Ken, I can't imagine someone dispersing trash like that..... has it been going on for a while or was this the first time? Maybe they had a party and an over-abundance of trash?

Drew, sounds like you're getting a little excited about the trip? 2 smaller bags definitely sound easier to handle. Have an enjoyable trip!

Ken, hope the son gets over the breakup easily..... maybe going to school and being with his peers will help lighten the mood.

Kyle, I bet your son enjoyed stepping up to 'the real deal'. Good to have him learn the correct way to handle.

Dennis, I vote for finding a young volunteer to go up in the attic.... you have earned the supervisor role....

Fritz, chicken looks delicious!

Ron, nice colorful mix of the bird community.

I finally let the smoke out of the HF wire feed / mig welder yesterday.... the arc works fine, but I think the motor or a gear for the wire feed is kaput.....
It's over 20 years old.... so, maybe cost $0.75 a year for usage? I still have a stick welder, so no rush for a replacement. Don't need a super fancy one, might go up a bit in quality and head for a middle of the road one, MIG and TIG.

A pic of the snow:

Couldn't get on TBN this morning for a bit.... apparently fixing some problems. Seems to be working ok now.....
Everyone have a great day!

Good Morning
34 and going to top 40 under sunny skies this morning.

Yesterday I got started on disassembling the TV for disposal. It has 3 projection CRT’s and fairly massive electronics. Date of manufacture was 2003. Got the Fresnel lens and mirror out intact.
The cabinet is insanely well built, all screwed together and glues as well. A 5 pound dead blow sledge would not separate the joints after the screws weee all removed. Looks like it’s saw time.
Had a meeting with airport manager, and then took it easy.

Today started with breakfast with the professor, then on to cutting up the TV.

Tried unsuccessfully to post pictures, had a hard time logging on earlier, not sure what’s going on.

Good morning all,
It is presently 41F with clear skies after an overnight low of 35. Forecast high for today is 47, light winds and mostly clear skies.

Liz is headed back to NC this morning, had to help her get organized and on the road. She will be back early next week.

Rumor has it that poles and 'loose lumber' for my building will be delivered today, just not sure when. I don't know if contractor will show today or not. If not, he won't be here until Thursday as Wednesday's forecast has us under a level 2 storm alert with high winds, heavy rain and a slight chance of tornado's.

I use a wireless point to point system to get internet from my house to my shop. The new pole barn will be all metal sided and will be directly in the path between the house and the shop. I'm going to need to figure out how to get internet into the pole barn and to the shop. I suspect I am going to need some fiber optic cable into or out of the barn.

Received info I needed for the wiring harness build, guess it is time to order some parts.

Found some truck tracks near where the pole barn is going that I don't recognize and don't go with any known visitors I had yesterday. Time to put up some security camera's. They are on order, due here Friday.

Hope everyone has a good day. Let's be safe out there.

Good Morning!!!! 55F @ 8:15AM. Sunny. High around 65F. Winds light and variable.
I hope that forecast is accurate; It's been blowing like crazy here for the past few days, and thumpin' and bumpin' all night.
Still rain in the 10-day, but not enough to amount to anything.
ge
Hope the performance issues are resolved here on TBN. Still kinda glitchy.

Time for a game cam on the garbage cans, Ken.

Can't go wrong with a 10/22, Kyle. Best to teach him about safety glasses and ear protection, too. Wish somebody had taught that to me at his age.

If you have power in the out buildings, Jim, you can put access points on the inside of each one, then run an Ethernet cable through the wall to the PTP antennas.

OK talk with the new realtor yesterday. He's lived in the area most of his life, so knows it well. But says it's still a seller's market, with most homes selling in 30 days or less. Says the place with the bonus room my friend found has been on the market 45 days because it's over priced. He promised to tour me around the neighborhoods next trip down, and put me on the Berkshire Hathaway portal for new listings notifications. Seems to think interest rates are on the way down, which doesn't match with the info I've been seeing, so don't know what's going on with that. So we'll see how this goes, but for now he's gonna have to show me he's worth his commission.

Once again, no word from the insurance adjustor.

Got the last oil line replaced on the Ford, then ran out of battery getting the lines purged and the engine started. Put it on a charger for another try today.

Finally got a warranty authorization to return the security cam recorder, so got it boxed up just in time to find an email with a pre-paid mailing label. That'll save me some cash; that thing's heavy!
