trans. dipstick

This is on a 1992 model 495 case/ih, missing the transmission dipstick, if I had the dimensions I could make one. If anyone has that sure would be helpful.

Just measure the tube. That's about how long it needs to be. You can put your own markings on it after you do a measured refill.

Edit: According to Tractor Data, the trans holds 36 quarts.

Thanks Tinhack, thats the best option. My uncle bought the tractor new, just passed away at 88 years old. I now own it and trying to put it back in good shape.

Why not just order one from a dealer and be done wit it.
