After rain B7800 will not run?

Tractor was working fine we had a large amount of rain since the last time i used it. The tractor will start but die in a min with a lot of black smoke leave it sit for awhile and it will start again but die in a min.

It cranks fine just refuses to start. I took some of the fuel out thinking maybe water got in somehow.

I'm not sure what to do besides drain the fuel and try new the tank is mostly empty, i have also tried leaving the gas cap off.

I have a b7800, I am thinking they have a fuel shutoff solenoid that I would check. Loose wire or bad solenoid. Just a thought

Wording can be important - reads like it will start but not run.
So you've got fuel, compression, firing for a short time.
Check the filters.

Black smoke usually means a rich mixture. Check the air filter to see if it got wet.
