Something knocked off the leading left signal light lens yesterday on the B2601. I've seen grills for these. Where does one get them?

Guess it's the dealer for another lens? Messicks?

Think some have replaced bulbs with LEDs. Source? Work okay? On our old 1983 Benz, its signal light system would not work with LEDs.

On the 3 JDs, I moved these lights to inside the ROPS. Twas easy to do on them. Just unbolt and pull wire connectors apart, label, and move to inside. Cannot apparently with the gizmo that these are mounted on.

Thanks.

My lense too. Following.

Also, its wiring apparently wasn't protected very well under the fender so that needs attention too.

I've knocked them off more than once. Kubota prices for replacements are absurd. Last round I found an identical unit (whole light assembly, not just the lense) at Tractor Supply. Cheap comparatively.

Did you drill holes in the ROPS to mount your lights? If so, you might as well throw it away. I know that some people are going to comment about my statement BUT a ROPS is designed and CERTIFIED for it's purpose as it comes on the tractor. I know, another can of worms.

1) You are right. Some people are going to comment.
2) No ROPS was ever made or installed that cared one way or another if a hole was drilled in it. If it cared the ROPS was utterly worthless in the first place and should never have been "certified."
3) All the ROPS I ever saw are sufficiently strong to pick up the tractor by them. Way over designed generally.
3) Now tell me who exactly certifies ROPS? i.e. That's a crock of BS not relevant to replacing lights.
4) What makes you decide the OP "might as well throw it away?" Based on what?
5) OBTW this is a super sturdy looking canopy with front posts that ride on the FEL frame. Great for users where unusual forces might bear downward on the canopy -- like me going under heavy tree limbs, etc.

Good post SmokeyDog.

No holes drilled in ROPS. Factory light positions.

Other unused holes in ROPS for options.

BS argument for certification. Same could be said by adding a chainsaw mount, air seat, lights, toolbox or beer can holder being non-designed weight added equipment. Don’t be tearing off your mattress tags in case your house catches fire. If you spill Coke on your seatbelt you have to replace it. Use some common sense. If you don’t feel comfortable making modifications then don’t.

It will if you install a resistor in the light circuit. The flasher unit has to 'see' an amp draw to operate, unless you change it to a solid state flasher unit.

Far as the lens goes, I believe that will be a dealer item but you might want to search 'Stanley' with your browser. Kubota uses Stanley warning lights.

My comment about ANY ROPS structure is... If there are any holes put in it other than the factory, it's always suspect. If you want to add on anything using a ROPS, you need to use 'U" clamps to secure it.
