Nice pictures Drew beach is always a wonderful place to be
sure is, I thought of you when walking out to this beach. Love the fact tide takes the water back, tripling the size of the beach and creating tidal pools for parents with little kids to play in safely.
Folks out there early riding their fat tired bicycles on the beach, sand is very firm.
Very grey and hazy out.

My wife loves Folly Beach, it’s on of the few between OC and Daytona I’ve missed. She says it’s a great place to find shells.

72-95 today, with higher humidity as well.

I end a lot of calls with, “I’d better let you go”, followed by see you later or bye bye.

Good Morning!!!! 66F @ 4:00AM. Sunshine to start, then a few afternoon clouds. High 88F. Winds W at 5 to 10 mph.
Winds are currently in the 15-20MPH range, and have been for the past 48 or so hours, so it's nice to see the forecast calling for some calm.
Yesterday morning I noticed lots of air traffic overhead and using the FlightTrader24 website saw that two tankers and an traffic control plane were circling a new fire near Camptonville 25 miles to the southeast. Firefighters stopped forward progress by 2PM, and had reached 50% containment of the 25 acre blaze. Farther south at the start of the Grapevine on I5 in Kern county, the Edmonston Fire had consumed 600 acres by last night and had only been 20% contained. It's too early for fire season, but here we are.

I see there's a new MedCram video out with some surprising news on aligatoritis. Maybe the next project should be a sauna?

I guess I'm old fashioned, and just use "bye bye" before hanging up the phone.

When I was young and foolish, it was long hair and bell bottoms. Now adays there seems to be a competition on who can best dress up as a clown. Think I'll stick with my long hair.

And speaking of phones, with this newfound internet speed, maybe I should try WiFi Calling. Have any of you used it?

Poked around some more with network settings looking for the bottleneck between the StarLink Wifi and the Unifi equipment, but came up empty handed. Overall performance is still amply fast, but video uploads still take a while. That said, I was able to update the OS on the iPhone last night in only a few minutes, where the last time it took the better part of an hour and would sometimes take multiple attempts. And with no data caps, there's no threat of getting slowed down or having to buy more data.

The motorcycle tumble also cracked a mirror and broke the mount for the XM radio antenna, so I have some sheetmetal work to do today. The mail order house I've been using for BMW parts doesn't stock the mirror, so it's back to the local stealer.

Started packing for a motorcycle rally next weekend, putting up a larger tent I haven't used in a long time. It'll be nice to spread out a little, as I don't climb into my usual tent as much as I feel like I'm putting it on.

Hope everyone enjoys a nice Spring weekend!

65° right now...a bit overcast too. High...well, it's gonna be hot...91° is the prediction.
Dump run was yesterday and, as I'd written, the ZT is back running like new. I started the lawn yesterday and my main chore is to finish mowing before the heat sets in. Probably a bit damp from dew, so I'll give it a hour or two...

As far as the end of a phone call salutation...a simple "Have a great day" does it for me...

Well as your overly liberal representative here I am your expert on they/us/me/him.......
and I think it's a bit unnecessary too.....but it's supposed to support the psychological needs of those who have been marginalized. Ahem.
Oh No! They (Drew) used a pronoun that has a gender attachment. Has TBN been marginalized . . . Or normalized?

Will all the "definite articles" of Spanish and German now have to change? Good luck with that.

Spanish has four definite articles: el, la, los, and las. In Spanish, nouns don't like to be alone, so they are often accompanied by articles! Spanish articles indicate the gender (masculine or feminine) and number (singular or plural) of a noun, as well as whether or not a noun is a specific noun (definite or indefinite ).

There are three definite articles in German: der, die, das. They are similar to the English article the. As the German language requires gender, the definite articles have to be adjusted to the gender and the number of the noun.

My phone is ALWAYS set to the WIFI phone setting. It's the only way to call from this valley in the hill country.

Good morning! 76˚F, cloudy, South wind, heading to the 90s, BUT rain is predicted to be here at 8:30 p.m. when a cool front comes in. In anticipation I am turning the irrigation system off in the yard and the garden.

Eric, How do you remove the mortar before you repoint your building?

BTW, maybe I've missed his posts, but has our resident Limey, Eric, posted recently?

Good Morning
It’s 65 and supposed to top 90.
Foggy when I got up, but burned off already.

Yesterday we got about 1-1/2” rain, it came a few intense showers rather than an all day soaker. I need to mow, but it’s too wet, and I won’t have any time tomorrow or Monday. So I might take a chance later today.
No music last night, called off at the last minute. Good thIng the kids were here to eat the crockpot of meatballs that I put on.

Today I might take the little plane to Pottstown, NJ for lunch. Nice restaurant right at the airport. Supposed to look at a friends Explorer this morning to see if the “towing package” included a brake controller. I suspect it doesn’t.
Hopefully mow some this afternoon, grandson is away with his parents, it will be lonely in the cab, but at least it will be cool.
