36 and sunny, but ice in the smallest bird bath. Getting up to 64 again, but windy.
Thanks for the wishes for my wife's shoulder. She feels better.
Thomas, hope you had a smooth cigar.
Sodamo, when prices go up, makes that SS seem even smaller. Inflation, with a tanking market, is certainly bad news for the retired crowd. I no longer have cats, so am surprised that cat food is hard to get right now.
Sweet Betsy has been smelling so good last few days...intoxicating. Crimson clover fields are at peak bloom and full of bees and butterflies. The bee swarm stragglers have not returned to our front yard tree. Phoebes hatched yesterday...5 of them. The Carolina wrens are attacking the chipmunks when they get too close to the creel basket decoration they are nesting in. Yep, just another beautiful spring. Makes it seem even sadder about Ukraine victims and their country.
Mowed for the 4th time yesterday, and did some hole digging. First time in probably 35 years of using these post hole diggers that a nut came off and a bolt fell off. I had just one of the correct size, but the others are loose, so need to pick up some more and replace the other 3. It at least gave me an excuse to quit about the time my arms and shoulders started complaining.
RNG, enjoy your trip.
