Good Morning!!!! 52F @ 7:30AM. Sun and clouds mixed. High 78F. Winds S at 5 to 10 mph.
I'm with you, Billie. Except I also wear an N95 mask when mowing, to keep the pollen out of my nose.
Little bit too much TMI going on around here lately!
Pretty much got everything packed and loaded yesterday; getting the bike on the carrier was the usual PITA. It's heavy, and the pivoting mount keeps trying to go back down while I'm reaching for a tie down or trying to get to the latch to lock it in place. The wheel chock isn't strong enough to keep the bike from falling over if I let go. Then I noticed that the rear hatch of the van was still open, and wouldn't close with the bike in the way. Let enough slack out on one side to let the bike pivot outward just enough to close the hatch, whew, that was close.
Then went to turn the van around in the driveway, and it died, going into the crank-no-start routine. This time I went back and wiggled the ground wire going to the engine computer, and it started right up again. Got it moved, then quit for the day. Today I'll get it started, then wiggle that wire to see if I can get it to quit. If not, I'll keep wiggling wires in hopes of finding the culprit.
Sitting on the back porch enjoying a cool one when I found an email from StarLink, asking me if I still wanted one of their internet setups. I couldn't click the Accept link quick enough! The confirmation said it should go out sometime in the next couple of weeks. Ordered a pole mount adapter, Ethernet adapter, and masonry wall installation kit, too. Gonna be like a kid waiting on Christmas for a while around here. For the record, I placed the deposit with them on 2/10/2021...
Happy Hump Day, folks!
