Good Luck! I just had to wait for the right atmospheric conditions( overcast and foggy) you my friend might be in for a longer wait!

Dec.-Mid Feb. Shot was taken a few years ago. The big guy upstairs turned the tap on for the sun. The mercury was near 8 degrees that morning. While not earth shattering for the South, don't get me started I have been here 25 years ( Honey the Mason/Dixon....) and not an argument I will ever win, still damn cold.

Sand hill cranes have returned to our area and yes, this is a cemetery. They nest on or near a pond that's very close by. We see three, so a chick from the past season? What a strange bird.

I don't remember when I shot this, just looked like I felt at the time I guess, sort of spoke to me.

Not really a nature photo, but this is the pier at St. Joseph, MI yesterday afternoon. We went for a nice walk. The trout and salmon were biting. Quite a few small craft out on the lake, too. Beautiful day.
