I wonder with the move to massive farming operations many heavily mechanized if it wont pass this time.
The 100 acre family farm is pretty much dead. That seemed to be the party most in need of 5AM sunrises

The sun is still up the same amount of time. Only our time perspective changes.

That's a blast from the past. My wife and I saw a set of them in an antique/flea market place a couple months ago. I was surprised to see a complete set.

Well the senate, by unanimous consent, just passed keeping DST forever. It has to pass the house still...

If you have to do farm chores before you have to go to your off-farm full-time job, that's the perspective from a farmer's point of view. I'm sure they'd like some sunlight in the a.m.

However, I'd guess agriculture has little influence over the subject anymore. It's mostly driven by people either not wanting their kids going to school in the morning darkness, or people wanting more daylight AFTER their full-time job is over, so they can get some things done/recreate in the evenings.
