Lost an hour to DST

My weather station does adjust for DST, but for some reason it's off by a couple weeks.

Correction; it changes on the correct weekend (at least in the spring), but it does it Sunday night, not Saturday. Weird.

I wish Idaho would just switch to Pacific Standard, and be done with it. I’ve heard all the arguments about it making the kids go to school in the dark.

N.H. is considering changing to Atlantic time, and remaining on standard time year round. Its adaption would hinge on Maine and Mass. following suit. USDOT would also have to agree to this.

I like it just the way it is.

There are 9 days in June that Civil twilight [daylight] begins at 5:05 AM. in my east facing bedroom window.

If we went back to standard time, it would start becoming daylight at 4:05 AM.

That's just nuts! I'm a retired owl, not a working eagle.

Well the senate, by unanimous consent, just passed keeping DST forever. It has to pass the house still...

Yesterday I drove 45 miles and was 1/2 mile into the woods when the sun finally woke up. Last night my body was so messed up that I didn’t even get up until 6:30 this AM. (Last week’s 5:30).
Now I’m headed out to get some trees tapped before darkness descends.

I wonder with the move to massive farming operations many heavily mechanized if it wont pass this time.
The 100 acre family farm is pretty much dead. That seemed to be the party most in need of 5AM sunrises
