We have some fixtures like that, too, BEF. This one has one LED mounted on a board in each unit, with a plastic lens over it, and a plastic bezel mounted around that to hold it in place. She told me it had started pulsing. I let it run for a couple of hours yesterday after removing all the plastic it's encased in, and it never had any problems. I'm thinking it's heat-related. It's the light over her piano, so she got annoyed
when it started pulsing over her sheet music ... which I can completely understand.
I looked on the Lowe's website to find replacements, and found a plethora of bad reviews commenting on the same thing; units go out and replacements aren't readily available. The distributor did reply on a couple of them offering to get them parts, so I'm going to contact them to see what they can do. We like the light, but may have to eventually replace it with something more serviceable. For now, I'll see if I can get parts to keep it working.
Naturally, it's 5-year warranty has just expired.
