HYDRAULIC TOP LINK LENGTH

Someone please tell me how to pick correct length of this for my TYM T451, and what size hyd fittings I need.

Measure your current top link both retracted and extended. Try to find cylinder that comes closest to these measurements. Cat 1 top link pins are 3/4". Fittings and hose lengths depend on what cylinder and hydraulic couplers need. Since you want to be able to make small adjustments 1/4" hoses or a flow restrictor may be desired.

Look at this link, get the dimension and try to get the hydraulic top link with that dimension at half extension.

As far as couplers, you need 1/2" male poppet type ISO 5675 to plug into your factory rear remote couplers.

I recommend that you go with 3/8" hose.

QH won't require longer toplink, longer pto shaft maybe

4"? I have Cat I and II...haven't measured the II lately but recently measured the I for a neighbor wanting to install a set and it was a 2" extension....I think the mechanical top links sold by TSC came in 25" standard and 27" for longer versions....memory cloudy here and you needed the longer link for use with the Pats.

Arrived and installed today.

I've got the tsc one for.my L4150, and this one off eBay for my L2850 the tsc one is better quality imo. Had both for over two years no major problems, but prices have went up quite a bit.

I eneded up getting the longer one from TSC because I have the Pat's QH and it is the perfect length. Works great.
