Seals, seals, seals...
I bought a 2013 Polaris Brutus (diesel, of course) in 2016. It was essentially new old stock. Had been sitting roughly three years. I've got a leak that I believe is from a bad rear crank seal (being a hydrostatic trans I don't have to worry about a slipping belt of clutch- saving grace). It's not too much, but it always bugs me: fortunately it's not parked inside and piddling all over.
I'd want to see pictures all underneath. Not sure how much run time would be necessary to force a marginal seal to expose itself. There's also other temperature change issues (really cold temps). I'd be surprised if anything would be pumping out fluids like crazy; well, at least not initially.
I've gotten plenty of used stuff and it takes a while (usually a fair amount of parts replacement/repairs) before I am not thinking that something somewhere is going to take a dump. Peace of mind is worth a lot. If one has time to make repairs then it's more palatable.
I'd look to bid based on how much I could part it out for. For sure there's a ton of good parts there. Folks know this and will bid accordingly. Good engine to pump [up] and dump into something else (for many): I've been after a particular diesel engine that's really rare to come across here in the states- can only get them in complete cars (the car body is of no interest to me).
