Darn, that's what I'm doing wrong. All of this time I thought that I had to buy seeds and fertilizer... which I get from a farm supply store.Correct. Everyone knows food comes from grocery stores.

Amazing that rural guys get away with telling their wives that they are going into town to "pick up some chicks"... (at the farm supply store).Darn, that's what I'm doing wrong. All of this time I thought that I had to buy seeds and fertilizer... which I get from a farm supply store.
So are the "green weenies"...Oil hit $90/barrel today…..
Putin is a happy camper.
“Giving up being the greatest energy producer “???? I live in the #2 oil producing state and oil production is at a little above the past 5 year average now. We have a $2.6 billion state budget surplus due to oil and gas. The #1 oil producing state (Texas) is also producing at about the 5 year average now.Its depressing knowing we are giving up being the greatest energy producer in the world and a net exporter and prices are going back up, way up. High energy costs hurt the poor and lower income folks more than anyone.

WTI...we don't do brent.Oil is only 86.49 today.
NM primarily produces on federal and state lands, with most acreage on federal lands. Oil companies have about a decade of undrilled federal leases so this short pause in leasing is a non-issue. The pause is to make sure that Americans get fair value for federal oil leases. The lease rates for federal lands haven’t changed since the 1920s, while the prices charged by state and private are much higher. Much of the reason why the oil rigs farther north are shut down is they are more costly to produce and less productive than the Permian basin in TX and NM. Many of the SD and WY oil companies have moved people to the Permian basin where oil production is more profitable. When you realize NM and TX are producing on private land, yeah it looks rosy. The federal leases north of you are shut down. I drive by a Schlumberger depot full of idle drilling rigs.
You guys just keep drilling and pumping...

There is a moratorium on issuing new leases. As I said previously, most oil companies have at least a decade of previously issued leases that have not yet been drilled. It’s the same on all federal lands. That’s why I said that a short term moratorium has no effect. There is a federal moratorium for drilling and extracting on federal lands...how is NM able to extract while other places are not?
Reminds me of the Sunkist OJ commercial. The general public is dumber than a box of rocks.
Hey Willy, are these "miles" or "kilometers" per gallon? For sure the gas in EU is higher than here but
they get better miles per gallon also!
My Italian friend was getting about 75 to 80
miles per gallon 600 FIAT I am only guessing
as from Naples to Rome is 150 miles and we
drove around Rome for 3 days and back to Naples
and he drove for 3 more days before he needed gas!
The best performing Mercedes Benz in 2005 is the A-Class (W168) Hatchback A160 CDI (2005) Diesel 1689cc engine, which averages 62.8 MPG. IF they would take off all the pollution crap we would get better mileage burn less fuel and the fumes would not be as deadly and many homes would have not burned down without the pollution
crap which sure caused a lot of destruction

Being that the site that Willy posted is UK based, I suspect those numbers are also based on UK MPG. In US MPG that comes around 52 MPG, which for a 2005 is still really good.
