Yee Haw, finally a break in the weather. A balmy -1c with some wind. Spent a couple hrs clearing some drifts and a path to a bin that has some deer feed. Path to the burn barrels was impassable too.

Still does here but we don't get as much as we used to. Cross country ski paths are still in bad shape.

It was bitterly cold here for a week or 2. Coldest day was -37*C and it stayed below -25*C for about a week. Ran into some tractor issues at those temps and ended up needing a new return line for the injectors. While waiting for the part the snow kept building up and by the time I got the tractor running again there was about 18" to 24" of snow on the ground. Kept the tractor busy for 3 days moving that nice light snow and then the warm weather came along with rain. Woke up one morning to about 5" of fresh wet snow and rain pouring down. Wasn't sure if the inverted blower would blow that wet crap but to my surprise I did the whole driveway without any issues. That's 3 km of blowing heavy wet slop. I was very impressed and happy that I didn't have to plow it and leave at the sides of the driveway.

Guess I shouldn't complain about our up and down weather. Cycles of a couple cold days followed by a couple to warm days. But not extreme like you have had Hilbilly. Can't make a good winter road this year. Get snow enough and then it rains followed by a fast freeze or just warms up like today and it packs into ice.
