Yes it’s hydraulic and requires 10-15gpm.

My Massey dealer turned me into it and I like it a bit more than the lane shark because I believe it’ll provide a cleaner cut on the edge of my treeline

I have about 2000ft of dense and fast growing brush/treeline I need to cut back every year. I’m pretty beat up after two decades in the Army and the kids are moving out so I’ll be losing the help.That’s what the interest is.

I use the pole saw on my pecan trees.

If we lived closer, you could hire me! No idea where you reside at but some clearing jobs require saw and back.

I like it. I think once you get accustomed to it you can make the cuts looks as good as a pole saw.

I have have a mile long driveway. Both sides lined with pines. I use a pole saw. Works great. Every year - up/down the driveway - cutting limbs back. You do have to keep up on it.

I like the cutting part.

It’s the picking up and disposing of the cut limbs that I do not particularly like!
