I have tried a couple of forums without success so still trying.
This Nifty 120T has 2 lift rams. They were working fine and then one ram started playing up. It would extend and then retract to a certain point and then lock. It doesn’t always lock at the same spot and it tends to be random. I swapped the locking blocks and the problem went to the other ram. So I bought a new one and installed.
Worked fine for a while and now both rams are acting up. I actually got stuck fairly high on the lift and had to slide down.
When the lift is cold it works as it should. It only starts playing up after about 10 minutes work. The rams act up on both the petrol motor pump and the battery motor pump.
All controls are hydraulic and the only solenoid I can find is one on the petrol pump motor so it cannot be the problem.
I know it is a tough problem. I am hoping someone has had a similar issue with a lift ram and could point me in the right direction.
