MX5200 tire chains

Hi All!!! I was given some tire chains that I think are more or less "ladder" style. I plan to install them on 14.9x26 R1.

I've laid them down it looks like they are about 9ft in length and 28" How much effort will I have modifying these to work or will they drop over without a lot of effort

I also have another thought to making them into an H-pattern type as well.

Plenty wide but too short.

I ended up just putting them on and they are gonna work great... I do want to get some H-links in though as I can sure tell they will fall in between the lugs with out them. Is there a special type of chain or can I go to farm and home and get it and then cut them into 2-3 links and add repair links to get them attached to the ladders?
