L48 Boom Lock

Just blew up the picture and see two long handled pins that allow you to lock the boom from the operator station. Didn’t see the handle on boom lock pin in the parts diagram. A picture of the pin detail might help the OP.

There is absolutely NO WAY that you could pin the boom up, from the seat, unless you wear a 48" long shirt sleeve.

With difficulty I can use the M59 boom lock with the seat facing forward and almost effortlessly with the seat backwards. This isn’t the best picture because I zoomed it in from another picture but the boom lock is the handle that’s maybe a foot behind the backhoe handles. IMG_9579.JPG

THAT type boom lock is NICE!
The L48 boom up lock is not at all similar.
