Glow plugs for CT450

Anyone know where to get glow plugs for CT450 other than dealer? Parts stores possibly not sure if there is a NGK equivalent...My dealer can order some for $40 a pop but will be over a week to get them...

The glow plugs should have a manufacturer name or logo on them as well as the type number. It is indeed probably an NGK glow plug. You can go surfing or just contact NGK. They'll tell you what will work. They told ma which glow plug was recommended for my Mitsubishi tractor and it was less than half what the parts vendor wanted for the same plug.

BERU 0100226383 is the only identification on them. I can't find any cross reference on them. I called local parts stores with no help.

From what I can find Beru glow plugs are VERY expensive. I'd do a bit of surfing, check in with NGK, and see if they have a cross reference.

I have no idea if they will work or not. What is important with dimensions? I assume the length has to be the same...How confident are you these will work?

I certainly do not know they would work. I would contact the seller and see if he could assure it. I might also pull one and do some measuring. Maybe call NGK. Sorry I can't be of more help.

These ended up working perfectly, sorry for the delay in response. 3 of my 4 were bad at 265hrs on my 2011 CT 450. I purchased 4 for what Bobcat wanted for one plug... Thanks again for helping out.

I just went through this for my 2009 (engine date stamp) CT-450 (which is really a Kioti (Daedong-made) DK-50SE HST. The original BERU 0100226383 glow plug that some have reported has been replaced by BobCat with the Bosch 0250212016 glow plug. I know because I just bought a set from BobCat, turns out it was as cheap as any other alternative up here in Canada I could get locally and which matched the specs. 12 mm hex nut, length = 83.5 mm, 10 mm x 1.25 pitch thread, 11 volts. This plug looks identical to the various Amazon substitutions for the Kioti glow plug part #E6303-65511 (or E6301-65512). I found a couple of compatible-looking alternatives on the NGK website.
